S.E.A.L. Security stated via FB & S.E.A.L. Security Solutions & Training Academy:  "S.E.A.L. Is an acronym for Strategic Executive And Logistical Security. We have nothing but the highest respect for all forms of military and in no way imply we are SEALS."

But wait:  Strategic Executive and Logistical Security would represent via initials:  SELS.  not SEAL.  Lets see what happens when some question those who "...in no way imply we are SEALS."

1.  Daniel Kelley‎ in a FB message stated to S.E.A.L. Security Solutions & Training Academy

"I appreciate the work your company does for protection, but I have to make a comment. Why can't you use a more personally thought up name/logo. By using the SEAL idea/acronym, you are implying that this a true SEAL/military detachment. I proudly served and retired from the US Navy; although never attached or trained as a SEAL. I, as well as many, see this as a slap in the face to the true SEALS."

2. Rick Ponce a member of ‎S.E.A.L. Security Solutions & Training Academy said:

"Stay safe out there. We are representatives of ourselves and SEAL and be proactive while patrolling."

Joe Oliver representing no one, yet,  concerned about Stolen Valor replied:

"Sorry, but you are NOT SEAL nor are you representative of SEAL who went through BUD/S and earned the right to claim SEAL.

You need to insure your audience understands this fact."

Joe Oliver took screen shots and full page saves and sent the information to The Fake Warriors Project.  This is what they had to say:

If they were honest - they would have left it up for all to see.

Final Disposition by  Strategic Executive and Logistical Security:  Stop people from posting challenges to S.E.A.L. name usage at their Facebook site by removing posts and those questioning.

What is Stolen Valor?

The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 (Pub.L. 113–12; H.R. 258) is a United States federal law that was passed by the 113th United States Congress. It makes it a crime to obtain money, property, or other tangible benefit from convincing someone they are something they are not.  Sadly it does not apply to companies.  People who would take a name that is associated with honor, bravery, courage under fire, sacrifice, including ones life and use it to make a buck, surely that should be classified as Stolen Valor as well.  Any soldier or former LEO employed by those who are capitalizing on SEAL should hang their head in shame.

Interesting Comment:
Jason T EagleSpeaker said:  POG group of wannabe's. That is so wrong to use SEAL as a name. There is NO explanation or reasoning that could ever justify what that company has done to degrade Valor earned by the best of the best, now stolen for 30 pieces of silver and probably some self aggrandizement.
Stay on 'em. I'm sure many will be working in the background to see justice served.

There’s something, it seems, about wanting to be perceived as a hero, to have people look at them with admiration that is part of the driving force.

In many cases, an for sure in this one, there’s a very clear and specific financial gain that they’re seeking. Their lie ( thats what it is - they are not SEAL ) becomes a narrative, it becomes a story, an excuse, an explanation, a way of filling some other gap.

A big aspect of these lies' harm involves stealing honor and respect from true SEAL Those who have earned the right to claim SEAL are recognized for a character of selflessness, bravery, and heroism in some of the most difficult circumstances.

This charade will denigrate society's overall impression of SEAL and increases skepticism about those who have rightfully earned the title.

This could go on... and on and on...

When we spoke you said you called them about a van and a man who entered some ones yard.. you got pissed at their dispatch for not sending .. and despite you spoke with one of the owners, no one ever showed up to do a check. EXACTLY what I said above.. and if you didn't know they were not SEAL who would the fall guys be. US Navy SEAL - their reputation.

My advice, based on the following is simple.  If you need law enforcement call HPD.

Dial 9-1-1 report an emergency  and dial: (713) 884-3131 for Non-Emergency

How would you like to be watching strangers in a van enter ( even if he wasn't one of your favorite people in the world ) your neighbors yard while on the phone to S.E.A.L.  ( and I challenge Malcom G. at Strategic Executive and Logistical Security to make my call to your dispatch PUBLIC )  and no S.E.A.L. unit ever shows up?  ( EXACTLY why, if we have security we need HPD Off Duty LEO to do/be REAL security )

NO ONE EVER CAME -  And I am still waiting....

Hi,

I wanted to report a suspicious vehicle and the fact the driver left the vehicle and entered Nava's property.  The home is directly across the street from  3321 Rochdale where I live.

My roof cams initially picked up the vehicle as it drove in and parked.

I called dispatch - quite excited from the event - to pass on the tag and vehicle description and ask for a Guard to make the trip.

If you taped.  I opened the call with my name and address, trying to get passed ID and location so a unit could be sent ASAP.  Maybe it's my age, and thing were done in a different manor in days gone bye .. but I found the GRILLING by  the dispatch gal not only annoying, but a waste of time as I watched the guy exit Nava's yard and head for his truck.  I wanted to see and grab a picture of any thing he may have taken.  The roof cams are great -- but -- they can not get a TAG from that angle nor pics of people behind bushes.

I think I upset you dispatch gal.  I might add she also upset me by missing who and where and not being ready for the meat, ID and Tag #.

Please consider a uniform way to report to dispatch and pass the format out to those using your service.

ps:  Needless to say I am still waiting for a unit.
